Plastic Welder/Fabricator Job Description
Position Summary:
The primary objective of the plastic welder is to set-up and operate fabrication equipment according to print specifications to meet the production demands in a timely manner. In addition to ensuring that quality guidelines and customer expectations are being met to the Satellite Suite standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and engineering instructions
- Cut and shape material to required specs
- Operating plastic fabricating/welding equipment
- Understand and meet safety, quality, productivity and delivery goals and expectations
- Maintain and care for all shop tools, machines, and equipment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in plastic welding a plus.
- At least two years of related experience and/or training
- Understanding of all equipment, tools, and gages related to fabrication
- Must be able to read a blueprints
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Compensation:
The pay range listed is the base pay range that Satellite Shelters, inc/Satellite Industries, Inc. reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
