Job Description:
The Pre-Delivery Inspector (PDI) plays a crucial role in the quality assurance of the manufacturing of the Suites products. The primary responsibility of a PDI is to conduct comprehensive inspections and tests on products before they are delivered to customers or released to the market. This position ensures that all products meet Satellite’s quality standards, specifications, and customer expectations.

The primary responsibility of a PDI is to conduct comprehensive inspections and tests on products before they are delivered to customers or released to the market. This position ensures that all products meet Satellite’s quality standards, specifications, and customer expectations.
Duties/responsibilities:
Inspection and Testing
- Perform thorough inspections of products, identifying any defects or issues.
- Utilize various testing equipment and tools to conduct functional and performance tests.
- Verify that products comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Document and report any non-conformities or defects detected during inspections.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure that all products meet the established quality criteria before delivery.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to develop and implement inspection protocols.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices in quality assurance.
Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, test results, and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions taken.
- Communicate effectively with production and quality control teams to address any issues.
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend changes.
- Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inspections.
Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in quality assurance or inspection roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulations.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Compensation:
The pay range listed is the base pay range that Satellite Shelters, inc/Satellite Industries, Inc. reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
