About the position: 
We are looking for an experienced App Developer to join our Business Solutions team. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining applications using OutSystems Platform. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully developing and deploying apps using the OutSystems platform’s APIs.

Essential Functions:
As an App Developer you will play a vital role in building, supporting and maintaining our mobile application. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Collaborate with business subject area experts, software developers, and technical leadership as part of project team to design and build high-impact business applications from start to finish.
  • Administering and keeping the OutSystems platform up to date.
  • Managing vulnerabilities and ensuring applications security.
  • Developing, testing, and deploying applications using the OutSystems low-code platform.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to software and system performance.
  • Documenting processes, configurations, and procedures.
  • Contributing to DRS exercises.
  • Special projects and other duties as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
No formal supervisory role.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Software Development, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in open systems (NET, C#, SQL, REST, SOAP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript).
  • Experience with OutSystems Platform preferred.

 Knowledge and Required Skills:
  • Drive, ability to learn & adapt.
  • Solid understanding of basic programming concepts to effectively develop on the OutSystems low-code platform.
  • Experience in software development using low-code platforms, along with system administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience integrating external systems with OutSystems Platform leveraging REST APIs.
  • Skills in understanding and diagraming business logic workflows.
  • SQL and database design knowledge.
  • Familiarity with system administration tasks, including server management, configuration, and monitoring.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to make timely decisions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Effective time management skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of agile concepts and planning.

Physical/Mental Demands:
Position requires a high degree of concentration to manage frequent interruptions while meeting strict deadlines. This position requires the ability to perform duties using both typical office equipment such as computers, cell phones, and printers as well as the ability to communicate and perform tasks in an office environment. Must be able to perform physical and mental tasks associated within a manufacturing environment. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
