70% - Marketing Operations Support and Administration:
The Marketing Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the processes, tools, and technologies that support the sales and marketing teams. They play an active role in troubleshooting and optimizing supporting systems to enhance conversion rates, achieve profitable sales growth, and improve the customer experience.
30% - Marketing Support:
Supports the development of marketing initiatives that align with the overall marketing strategy. This includes email campaigns, blogs, print and digital advertising, photo and video production, tradeshows and events, as well as vendor partnerships.
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Marketing Operations Support and Administration:
  • Serve as a liaison between the Sales and Marketing Teams, providing assistance and expertise on requests, inquiries, and innovative ideas
  • Oversee the operation of the company's online store
  • Increase ecommerce sales while decreasing administrative sales workload
  • Explore other ecommerce channels to drive online growth
  • Stay updated on new ecommerce technologies, trends, and best practices
  • Utilize customer insights and analytics to develop marketing and e-commerce strategies
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the customer journey, and implement modifications to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Develops and updates training and process documentation library
  • Responsible for training new users as well as ongoing training and support for existing users
  • Assists with developing and maintaining 3rd party vendor solutions – lead generation, AI tools, procurement portals, etc.
  • Assist in the implementation and management of the company's customer reward program
  • Provide support to the CRM manager, while contributing as needed in various capacities
  • Other duties as assigned

Marketing Support:
  • Supports the marketing team in creating and executing the overall marketing strategy
  • Assists with other marketing initiatives which include print and digital advertising, photo and video, trade shows and events, blog, website and SEO strategies, etc.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
No formal supervisory role.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
  • Shown ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members to accomplish tasks
  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
  • Previous ecommerce experience required
  • Shown ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members to accomplish goals

  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Schedule flexibility to respond to emergency situations

  • Technical Capacity with experience in PowerPoint, Photoshop, or InDesign preferred, but not required

Physical and Mental Demands:
Position requires a high degree of concentration to manage frequent interruptions while meeting strict deadlines. Position is largely sedentary; however, some filing is required. The ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend, sit or stand is necessary. Occasional driving is required.
